This serviceunit of the RNethAF was established in 1953 at Gilze-Rijen AFB. Primary task is to salvage crashed aircraft. From 1960 this unit became responsible for recovery of WW2 aircraft wrecks as well. The third task is to transport aircraft, including disassembling and assembling. The badge above is the last one used at Gilze Rijen AFB. In the early 1980's this service unit moved to Woensdrecht AFB. From that moment they use a new badge:
