in the E.T.O. & Far East

Equipment in the UK

After arrival of the Dutch Naval airplanes in the UK the Fokker T.VIII.W patrol aircraft were put into action flying patrol sorties over the Irish Sea. Due to the lack of spares the Fokker planes were replaces by Avro Ansons.
There were two flights the 'A' flight and the 'B' flight. 'A' flight became 320 squadron, and 'B' flight became 321 Squadron.
They were flying under control of Coastal Command of the Royal Air Force. Then the Ansons were replaced by Lockheed Hudson aircraft. At that moment 321 merged with 320 and 321 was disbanded.
