On September 20th 1944 a Stirling LJ829 of no.190 Squadron crashed at Doorwerth, between Van der Molen Allee and W.A. Scholtenlaan, at about 14:40 hrs.
Originally buried near the aircraft, the casualties were reinterred in Arnhem-Oosterbeek War Cemetery.
