September 19th 1944

On September 19th 1944 a Dakota KG388 of no.575 Squadron crashed north of former German Military Cemetery "Zijpendaal", somewhat north of Arnhem, Netherlands, at about 15:15 hrs.
The casualties were buried at the entrence to the Menthenberg.
Reinterred in Arnhem-Oosterbeek War Cemetery.
The aircrraft was hit by German Flak.
