September 19th 1944

On September 19th 1944 a Dakota FZ626 of no.271 Squadron crashed partly on the house Bakenbergseweg 262, Arnhem, at about 16:30h.
The casualties were buried in the garden and reinterred at Arnhem-Oosterbeek War Cemetery in 1945.
The aircraft was hit by German Flak.
