On September 19th 1944 a Stirling LJ939 of no.190 Squadron crashed southwest of Sportpark Bilderberg, Oosterbeek.
Originally buried near the aircraft, the casualties were reinterred in Oosterbeek War Cemetery.
The aircrraft was hit by German Flak.
