Crest Royal Netherlands Air ForceWelcome at the
the Air War Portal

This website is built to collect information on the air war over Europe in general and more specific the air war over the Netherlands during the WW2.
We offer you a lot of information on the subject to commemorate all those young airmen who died for the freedom of Europe.

About This Site
As we are very interested in the Dutch aspects of the Air War in WW2 a lot of detailed information on this pages has to do with the Dutch Air Force in WW2.

But there's more:
- We did a lot of research on crewmembers of Allied Aircraft (US and Commonwealth) which crashed in the Netherlands during operations. We present a listing of crewmembers (in alphabetic order by name) buried in the Netherlands.
- Furthermore we present details of aircraft and crewmembers that were interned in neutral Switzerland.
- We present listings and detailed information on USAAF units which were involved in the Air War over Europe WW2.

We hope that you enjoy your stay on this website.
